2144 Real Retirement Begins
About a month after I retired from my job back on July 8, 2024, my elderly parents moved in with me while Mom recuperated from a compression fracture in her lower back. Now that she has made a rather remarkable recovery, I am soon to return them to their winter home in south Texas. When I get back, I’ll only be responsible for myself and my newly acquired dog Jake.
